Description
Alphabet letter mats that turn letter formation into a hands-on fine motor activity. Children place pom-poms, mini erasers, glass gems or play dough balls on each circle, starting at the green dot and following the numbered arrows, to build all 26 uppercase and 26 lowercase letters.
Made for preschool, pre-K and kindergarten, including kindergarten children who need extra letter practice.
WHAT YOU GET
163 pages, including:
► 52 color letter mats (A to Z, a to z) with stroke order, a beginning sound picture and a word to trace
► 52 black and white letter mats
► Mini letter mats, 4 per page, in color and black and white
► 26 "How Many Did You Use?" recording sheets
► Teacher guide and a clickable What's Inside page
► 8.5 x 11 inches (US Letter); for A4, choose Fit to Page
WHAT MAKES IT WORK
Every mat shows the start point and the direction of each stroke, the same order children use when they write.
Placing small objects one by one builds the pincer grasp, finger strength and focus that early handwriting depends on.
The color mats are made to be laminated and reused all year; the black and white mats save ink.
