WHAT MAKES IT WORK
Every page has one clear task with a picture cue, so preschool and kindergarten children can work on their own while you share the Nevada facts aloud.
The facts are checked and kid friendly: Nevada became the 36th state on October 31, 1864, during the Civil War, which is why its flag says Battle Born; Carson City is the capital; and each state symbol becomes a skill, from a desert animal graph to a silver coin count.
The worksheets are black and white to save ink, and the flag poster, the map poster, the symbol cards and the headband also come in bright color for centers and your bulletin board.
No prep for the worksheets: just print and go. Children do the cutting and gluing, and the cards need only a quick cut.
